Search for baryon and lepton number violating decays D0 pe+ and D0 pe-

Abstract

Using an electron-positron collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93~fb-1 collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, we search for the baryon and lepton number violating decays D0 pe+ and D0 pe-. No obvious signals are found with the current statistics. The upper limits on the branching fractions for D0 pe+ and D0 pe- are set to be 1.2× 10-6 and 2.2× 10-6 at 90\% confidence level, respectively.
