The dynamics of scalar-field Quintom cosmological models

Abstract

We shall present a complete (compactified) dynamical systems analysis of the Quintom model comprised of an interacting quintessence scalar field and a phantom. We find a range for the model parameters , λ such that there are expanding Quintom cosmologies that undergo two inflationary periods, and this behaviour is not destabilized by spatial curvature. We also discuss a class of bouncing cosmologies. Finally, the linear cosmological perturbations are studied.
