Neutron oscillation and Baryogenesis from six dimensions
Abstract
Considering a six-dimensional geometry orbifolded on S1/Z2× S1/Z2 with quarks and leptons localised on orthogonal branes, we show that the construction admits observable n-n oscillation while naturally suppressing the proton decay rates. Consistent with other low-energy observables, the model also accommodates baryogenesis at O(10 TeV) scale.
