Investigating Bs three-body decays to scalar mesons in perturbative QCD approach

Abstract

In this work, we study the branching ratios of B0s→ a0(980)[ → KK, πη]a0(980), B0s → f0(980)[ → π+π-, K+K-]f0(980) and B0s → f0(500)[ → π+π-]f0(500) decays in the pQCD approach, in which the scalar mesons a0(980), f0(980) and f0(500) are regarded as the lowest-lying qq state. In the SU(3) nonet, there exists a mixing between the scalars f0(980) and f0(500), so we have considered the mixing effect in our calculations to obtain more reliable data, and the mixing angle θ is set at [15, 82] and [105, 171]. Based on the isospin symmetry, we also estimate the branching ratios of the B0s → f0(980)[ → π0π0]f0(980) and B0s → f0(500)[ → π0π0]f0(500) decays. The branching ratios of the B0s→ a0(980)[ → KK, πη]a0(980) decays are much small, while the results of the B0s → f0(980)[ → ππ, KK]f0(980) and B0s → f0(500)[ → ππ]f0(500) decays are at the order of 10-610-5, which can be tested in the LHCb and Belle II experiments, hopefully.
