Theoretical Review of Rare B Decays
Abstract
We present an overview of the recent neutral current B decays focusing on the deviations with respect to the Standard Model predictions that are observed in b s +- transitions, and discuss their implications for new physics scenarios in a model-independent way by means of global statistical fits. The prospects for future discoveries in the individual channels, in particular using the theoretically clean observables are also addressed.
