Semibricks, torsion-free classes and the Jordan-H\"older property

Abstract

Let C be an extriangulated category and X be a semibrick in C. Let T be the filtration subcategory generated by X. We introduce the weak Jordan-H\"older property (WJHP) and Jordan-H\"older property (JHP) in C and show that T satisfies (WJHP). Furthermore, T satisfies (JHP) if and only if X is proper. Using reflection functors and c-sortable elements, we give a combinatorial criterion for the torsion-free class satisfying (JHP) in the representation category of a quiver of type A.
