Partial wave analysis of the charmed baryon hadronic decay c+π+π0
Abstract
Based on e+e- collision samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.4 fb-1 collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.6\,\,GeV and 4.7\,\,GeV, a partial wave analysis of the charmed baryon hadronic decay c+π+π0 is performed, and the decays c+(770)+ and c+(1385)π are studied for the first time. Making use of the world-average branching fraction B(c+π+π0), their branching fractions are determined to be eqnarray* aligned B(c+(770)+)=&(4.060.300.350.23)×10-2,\\ B(c+(1385)+π0)=&(5.860.490.520.35)×10-3,\\ B(c+(1385)0π+)=&(6.470.590.660.38)×10-3,\\ aligned eqnarray* where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second are systematic, and the third are from the uncertainties of the branching fractions B(c+π+π0) and B((1385)π). In addition, %according to amplitudes determined from the partial wave analysis, the decay asymmetry parameters are measured to be α(770)+=-0.7630.0530.045, α(1385)+π0=-0.9170.0690.056, and α(1385)0π+=-0.7890.0980.056.
