New examples of constant mean curvature hypersurfaces in the sphere

Abstract

In this paper, firstly, we show the existence of a compact embedded constant mean curvature (CMC) hypersurface 1 in S2n of the type Sn-1 × Sn-1 × S1. Moreover, the hypersurface 1 exhibits O(n)× O(n) symmetry. Secondly, we show that there exists a compact embedded CMC-hypersurface 2 ⊂ S3n-1 of the type Sn-1 × Sn-1 × Sn-1 × S1. These results generalize the results of Carlotto and Schulz.
