Radiative decays of the charmed mesons in a modified relativistic quark model

Abstract

In the present work, we perform systematic estimations for the radiative decays of the charmed mesons in a modified relativistic quark model. Our estimations indicate that the branching ratios of the process of D20(13P2) D 0(13S1) γ, D30(1D3) D20(13P2) γ, D20(2D2) D10(2P1) γ, D30(23D3) D20(23P2) γ, and D 0(13S1) D0(11S0) γ are of the order of 10-2, which are sizable to be detected experimentally. Moreover, the branching ratios of some channels, for example, D10(1P1) D(11S0)0 γ, D0(31S0) D1 0(2P1) γ and D0(33S1) D20(23P2) γ are estimated to be of the order of 10-3, which may be accessible with the accumulation of data in future experiments.
