Search for EFT in associated top production
Abstract
A search for new physics in top quark production with additional final-state leptons is performed with 138 fb-1 of proton-proton collision data at s = 13 TeV. We use the framework of effective field theory to parametrize potential new physics effects in terms of 26 dimension-six EFT operators. The data are divided into several categories based on lepton multiplicity, total lepton charge, jet multiplicities, and b-tagged jet multiplicities. Kinematic variables are used to extract limits simultaneously on the associated set of Wilson coefficients.
