A Novel Algebraic System in Quantum Field Theory

Abstract

An algebraic system is introduced, which is very useful for doing scattering calculations in quantum field theory. It is the set of all real numbers greater than or equal to -m2 with parity designation and a special rule for addition and subtraction, where m is the rest mass of the scattered particle.
