The level d mapping class group of a compact non-orientable surface
Abstract
Let Ng,n be a genus g compact non-orientable surface with n boundaries. We explain about relations on the level d mapping class group Md(Ng,0) of Ng,0 and the level d principal congruence subgroup d(g-1) of SL(g-1;Z). As applications, we give a normal generating set of Md(Ng,n) for g4 and n0, and finite generating sets of Md(Ng,n) for some d, any g4 and n0.
