Study of excited states in (3686)→K-++c.c.
Abstract
Based on a sample of (448.12.9)×106 (3686) events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the decays of (3686)K-+ + c.c. with + π+, p π+ are studied. Two excited hyperons, (1690)- and (1820)-, are observed with large significance ( 10 σ) in the K- invariant mass distributions. A partial wave analysis is performed, and the spin-parities of (1690)- and (1820)- are determined to be 12- and 32-, respectively. The masses, widths, and product branching fractions of (1690)- and (1820)- are also measured.
