Fourier Dimension Estimates for Sets of Exact Approximation Order: The Badly-Approximable Case

Abstract

We show for decreasing, positive approximation functions such that τ = q ∞ (q) q < 13 + 738 and such that q2 (q) 0 that the set Exact() of numbers approximable to the exact order has positive Fourier dimension. This implies that the set Exact() contains normal numbers.
