The fork and its role in unification of closure algebras

Abstract

We consider the two-pronged fork frame F and the variety Eq(BF) generated by its dual closure algebra BF. We describe the finite projective algebras in Eq(BF) and give a purely semantic proof that unification in Eq(BF) is finitary and not unitary.
