Electroweak Transitions Involving Resonances

Abstract

The increasing importance of hadronic resonances in our understanding of the Standard Model is underscored by recent advancements in lattice Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) calculations. We review recent developments, with a particular emphasis on electroweak transitions that result in two-hadron final states. Additionally, we present the finite-volume lattice QCD methodologies that are pivotal in such studies in the context of preliminary results from the B ππ.
