Abstract
In this note we refute the critique raised in a preprint by J.~Berger and A.~Bhoonah~Berger:2023muj on the method used in our earlier paper, Beutter et al.~Beutter:2018xfx, to calculate the electromagnetic fields induced by an axion background in the presence of a magnetic field.
