Non-existence of free boundary minimal M\"obius bands in the unit three-ball
Abstract
We prove the impossibility of constructing free boundary minimal M\"obius bands in the Euclidean ball B3. This answers in the negative a question proposed by I. Fern\'andez, L. Hauswirth and P. Mira.
