Levinson Functions

Abstract

Starting from some of Norman Levinson's results, we construct interesting examples of functions f(s) such that for s=12+it, we have Z(t)=2\π-s2(s/2)f(s)\. For example one such function is \[aligned R -3(s)=12&∫01x-se3π ix2eπ i x-e-π i x\,dx\\&+123∫01x-seπ i3x2eπ i x-e-π i x(eπ i2+2e-π i6(2π x3))\,dx.aligned\]
