Congruences for the Ap\'ery numbers modulo p3

Abstract

Let \A'n\ be the Ap\'ery numbers given by A'n=Σk=0n nk2n+kk. For any prime p 3 4 we show that A'p-12 p23p-32p-34-2 p3. Let \tn\ be given by t0=1,\ t1=5and tn+1=(8n2+12n+5)tn-4n2(2n+1)2tn-1\ (n 1). We also obtain the congruences for tp p3,\ tp-1 p2 and tp-12 p2, where p is an odd prime.
