Further study on MacMahon-type sums of divisors
Abstract
This paper is devoted to the study of Ut(a,q):=Σ1≤ n1<n2<·s<ntqn1+n2+·s+nt(1+aqn1+q2n1)(1+aqn2+q2n2)·s(1+aqnt+q2nt) when a is one of 0, 1, 2. The idea builds on our previous treatment of the case a=-2. It is shown that all these functions lie in the ring of quasi-modular forms. Among the more surprising findings is U2(1,q)=Σn≥1 q3n(1-q3n)2.
