Profinite rigidity of lamplighter groups

Abstract

We show that the lamplighter groups $(\mathbb{Z}/p\mathbb{Z})^n\wr\mathbb{Z}$, where $p$ is prime and $n\ge 1$ is a positive integer, are profinitely rigid.
