Geodesic Motion and Particle Confinements in Cylindrical Wormhole Spacetime: Exploring Closed Timelike Curves

Abstract

In this study, the geodesic motion of a test particle along with its confinement is investigated within Cylindrically Symmetric Wormhole spacetime admitting to Closed Timelike Curves. The confinement of particles with or without angular momentum is also investigated. It is found that particles with positive angular momentum that co-rotates with the spacetime can only pass through the causality violating region. Particles with only non-zero angular momentum are present in the vicinity of the Closed Timelike Curves.
