Inelastic Antideutron Interaction with Nuclei
Abstract
We suggest to use the intranuclear cascade model (INC) for simulation of antideutron-nucleus inelastic interaction in the region of antideutron energies of 100 MeV/n Tkin 25-30 GeV/n for a wide range of target nuclei. With the help of the model we obtain the cross-section σin for inelastic antideutron-nucleus interaction and compare it with the ALICE experimental data. The model is in good agreement with the available experimental data on the inelastic interaction of antideutrons with tantalum nucleus. We have created a Monte Carlo generator for simulation of inelastic interaction of antideutrons with nuclei. This generator can be useful in the preparation and analysis of experiments to search for antideutrons near the Earth.
