Revisiting the c+ η π+ and the roles of intermediate resonances
Abstract
In this paper, we first review the theoretical and experimental studies of the process c+ π+ η . Motivated by the recent BESIII and Belle measurements, we have conducted a theoretical study of the process c+ π+ η , where the a0(980) and (1670) resonances are dynamically generated from the S-wave meson meson and meson baryon interaction, respectively. Our results give a reasonable description of the invariant mass distributions, which implies that the spin flip contribution in the (1385) excitation plays an important role.
