A note on zeros of derivatives of ultraspherical Bessel functions

Abstract

For any fixed 0, δ∈ R and x>0, we investigate the positive zeros of the derivatives j',δ(x) and y',δ(x), where equation* j,δ(x)=x-δJ(x) y,δ(x)=x-δY(x). equation* We derive asymptotic expansions for their k-th positive zeros as k→ ∞.
