On the Hausdorff dimension of geodesics with bounded self-intersection angle

Abstract

We expand a result of Birman and Series (1985) by proving that the set of geodesics whose self-intersection angles are bounded from below has Hausdorff dimension zero. In addition, we show that the set of geodesics that do not bound a geodesic triangle also has Hausdorff dimension zero.
