On the quadratic Waring-Goldbach problem with primes in Piatetski-Shapiro sets
Abstract
In this paper, it is proved that, for any γ1,γ2,γ3,γ4,γ5∈(2829,1), every sufficiently large integer n subject to n524 can be represented as the sum of five squares of primes, i.e., equation* n=p12+p22+p32+p42+p52, equation* such that pi= mi1/γi for some mi∈N+ for each 1≤slant i≤slant 5. This result constitutes an improvement upon the previous result of Zhang and Zhai [29].
