Prompt photon production in a bremsstrahlung in proton-proton collisions at s=10 GeV NICA energies
Abstract
The dependence of differential cross-section of prompt photon production in bremsstrahlung \(qq → qqγ\) at collisions of nonpolarized and longitudinally polarized protons at \(s\)=10 GeV NICA energies on the kinematic parameters: sum of energy of the colliding protons \(s\), the transverse momentum pT, the cosine of the scattering angle Cos(θ), the rapidity y of photon and xT has been investigated. Differential cross-section of bremsstrahlung accounts for 0.03\% of the total diferential cross section for the production of prompt photons in a proton-proton collisions at NICA entrgies. The polarization of protons has a large influence on the differential cross-section of bremsstrahlung \(qq → qqγ\), at large values of the transverse momentum of prompt photons. Double spin asymmetry of process of bremsstrahlung on the kinematic parameters has been studied.
