Proof of Quantum Conformal Invariance in N=4 Super-Yang-Mills Theory via N=1 Superfields
Abstract
Using the N=1 superfield formalism, we prove that the superconformal symmetry of N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory is preserved in the quantum theory. We demonstrate that the N=1 calculation is sufficient to guarantee the full N=4 supersymmetry, and show that the results are exact without receiving any higher-order corrections.
