Observation of the X(2370) in J/ψ→γK0SK0Sπ0 and J/ψ→γπ0π0η
Abstract
Based on (1008744)×106 J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector, the J/ψ→γK0SK0Sπ0 and J/ψ→γπ0π0η processes are studied. The X(2370) is observed in both the K0SK0Sπ0 and π0π0η invariant mass spectra, with statistical significances greater than 14σ and 20σ, respectively. Combining measurements from these processes with measurements from the previously reported J/ψ→γK0SK0Sη process, the mass and width of the X(2370) are determined to be 2359+13-14~MeV/c2 and 170+44-29~MeV, respectively. In addition, the decay X(2370) a0(980)0π0 with a0(980)0 π0η is observed with a statistical significance exceeding 9σ. The similarities in decay modes between the X(2370) and ηc are consistent with the features of a pseudoscalar glueball.
