The planar Turán number of \K4,Θ6i\

Abstract

Let H be a family of graphs. A graph is said to be H-free if it contains no subgraph isomorphic to a graph in H. The planar Turán number ex_P(n,H) is defined as the maximum number of edges in an H-free planar graph on n vertices. In this paper, we determine the exact value of ex_P(n,\K4, Θ61\) and a tight upper bound of ex_P(n,\K4, Θ62\).
