Galactic Collapsed Objects
Abstract
Our Galaxy contains some 108 to 109 collapsed objects (neutron stars and black holes). Our knowledge of them is based on less than 2000 objects identified as radio pulsars, members of X-ray binaries and magnetars. In this review I shall briefly discuss some of their properties such as masses, magnetic fields and rotation.
