On the correlation energies for two interacting electrons in a parabolic quantum dot
Abstract
The correlation energies for two interacting electrons in a parabolic quantum dot are studied via a pseudo-perturbation recipe. It is shown that the central spike term, (m2-1/4)/r2, plays a distinctive role in determining the spectral properties of the above problem. The study is carried out for a wide range of the Coulomb coupling strength λ relative to the confinement.
