Preliminary BABAR results on B0 mixing with dileptons and on lifetime with partially reconstructed B0 decays

Abstract

With an integrated luminosity of 7.7 fb-1 collected on resonance by BABAR at the PEP-II asymmetric B Factory, we measure the difference in mass between the neutral B eigenstates, Delta(md), to be (0.507+/-0.015+/-0.022)x 1012 hbar s-1 with dileptons events and present preliminary results for the B0 lifetime, tau(B0) = 1.55+/-0.05+/-0.07 ps and tau(B0) = 1.62+/-0.02+/-0.09 ps obtained from partial reconstruction of the two B0 decay processes respectively B0-->D*-pi+ and B0-->D*- l+ nul.
