B CP-Violation, Mixing and Lifetime Results from Belle
Abstract
Recent results on the B CP-violation parameter 2φ1, the B0d-B0d mixing parameter md and B-meson lifetimes are reported. The results are based on 10.5 fb-1 of data collected with the Belle detector at KEKB. Using both semileptonic and hadronic decay modes the neutral and charged B-meson lifetimes are measured to be τbz=1.5480.035 (stat.)~ps and τbm=1.6560.038 (stat.)~ps. The oscillation frequency md for B0d-B0d mixing is measured to be 0.5220.026 (stat.)~ps-1 using semileptonic modes and 0.5270.032 (stat.)~ps-1 using hadronic modes. The above results are preliminary. The time evolution of B0d decays into J/ K0S, (2S) K0S, c1 K0S, ηc K0S, J/ K0L and J/ π0 modes are studied to obtain 2φ1. Using 282 fully reconstructed events, 2φ1 is measured to be 2φ1=0.58+0.32-0.34 (stat.)+0.09-0.10 (syst. ).
