Measurement of D0 decays to K0L π0 and K0S π0 at Belle
Abstract
We present a preliminary measurement of the ratio of D0 decay rates into K0L π0 and K0S π0 final states. This ratio can be used to disentangle the Cabibbo favored D0 K0π0 and doubly Cabibbo suppressed D0 K0 π0 amplitudes, and contributes to the important goal of constraining the strong phase δK π between D0 K- π+ and D0 K+ π-. The measurement is based on a large data set accumulated by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+ e- collider, with K0L candidates reconstructed using hadronic clusters in the KLM (KL and μ identification system), together with a D0 mass constraint and D*+ tag.
