Measurement of Branching Fractions of Color-Suppressed Decays of the B0bar Meson to D0 pi0, D0 eta, and D0 omega
Abstract
We report preliminary results of an experimental investigation of the color-suppressed decays barB0 --> D0 pi0, D0 eta, and D0 omega. We measure the branching fractions B (barB0 --> D0 pi0) = (2.89 +/- 0.29 (stat.) +/- 0.38 (syst.)) times 10-4, B (B0 D0 η) = (2.41 0.39 (stat.) +/- 0.32 (syst.)) times 10-4, and B (barB0 --> D0 omega) = (2.48 +/- 0.40 (stat.) +/- 0.32 (syst.)) times 10-4. The results are based on (48.8 +/- 0.5) times 106 B B-bar pairs collected with the BaBar detector. The branching fractions of these color-suppressed decays are significantly larger than theoretical expectations based upon factorization.
