Observation of S=+1 narrow resonances in the system K0sp from p+C3H8 collision at 10 GeV/c

Abstract

The 2m propane bubble chamber experimental data have been analyzed to search for an exotic baryon state, the + -baryon, in the pK0s decay mode for the reaction p+C3H8 at 10 GeV/c. The pK0s invariant mass spectrum shows resonant structures with MKs0 p=15408, 161310, 182111 MeV/c2 and Ks0 p= 9.21.8, 16.14.1, 28.09.4 MeV/c2. The maximal statistical significance of these peaks have been estimated as 5.5σ,4.8σ and 5.0σ, respectively.
