Impact of Tau Polarization for the determination of high β and Aτ
Abstract
In order to determine the fundamental MSSM parameters M1, M2, μ and β the tau polarization from stau decays can be explored as a `bridge' between the gaugino/higgsino and the stau sector in particular in the high β range. Even in the case of high β an accuracy of δ(β)≈ 5% with an simultanous determination of Aτ is possible without assuming a specific SUSY breaking scheme.
