Hard diffraction at the LHC and the Tevatron using double pomeron exchange
Abstract
We use a Monte Carlo implementation of recently developped models of inclusive and exclusive diffractive W, top, Higgs and stop productions to assess the sensitivity of the LHC experiments. We also discuss how the Tevatron experiments could test the models and measure the gluon density in the pomeron, which is needed to make precise predictions at the LHC.
