Comment on Ds* Ds π0 Decay
Abstract
We calculate the rate for Ds* → Ds π0 decay using Chiral Perturbation Theory. This isospin violating process results from π0 - η mixing, and its amplitude is proportional to (md - mu)/(ms-(mu+md)/2 ). Experimental information on the branching ratio for Ds* → Ds π0 can provide insight into the pattern of SU(3) violation in radiative D* decays.
