Heavy baryon masses
Abstract
Simple and plausible rules are used to correlate the masses of the ground-state baryons containing single heavy (b or c) quarks. A comparison with the experimental data shows that the observed mass difference between the b and the *b is unexpectedly large. Predictions for the masses of the yet undiscovered heavy baryons are given.
