Final State Interaction Phases in B K π Decay Amplitudes

Abstract

A simple Regge pole model for Kπ scattering explains the large ei δ between isospin amplitudes which is observed at the D meson mass (δ ≈ π/2). It predicts δ ≈ 14- 20 at the B mass. Implications for (B K π) decays and extensions of the model to other two-body decay channels are briefly discussed.
