A Note on Cyclic Gradients
Abstract
Simple necessary and sufficient conditions for a n-tuple of noncommutative polynomials to be a cyclic gradient are given and similarly for a noncommutative polynomial to have a vanishing cyclic gradient. Connections with free probability are explained.
