Delta Excitations in Neutrino-Nucleus Scattering

Abstract

We derive the contribution of -h excitations to quasielastic charged-current neutrino-nucleus scattering in the framework of relativistic mean-field theory. We discuss the effect of production on the determination of the axial mass MA in neutrino scattering experiments.
