Many-particle nucleon-nucleon forces from nuclear single-particle states
Abstract
As follows from the energies of single-particle states in 40Ca, 90Zr and 208Pb nuclei the contribution of many-particle NN forces to the nuclear single-particle potential is at least the sum of repulsive and attractive parts resulting from three-particle and four-particle forces respectively. In addition the specified nucleon density distributions in the above nuclei are determined from both the 1 GeV proton-nucleus elastic scattering and the single-particle energies.
