Simons formulas in complex space forms and product spaces

Abstract
We compute Simons type equations for parallel mean curvature submanifolds in complex space forms Nn(c), with constant holomorphic sectional curvature c, and product spaces Nn(c)xR. These formulas are then used to characterize some of these submanifolds.
