Extending the Bipartite Parking Space
Dora Woodruff
Abstract
We prove an analogue of a theorem of Berget and Rhoades about extending the parking space Parkn to an Sn+1-module Slimn. Specifically, we show that the bipartite parking space ParkKn,m, which naturally comes with an Sn-1 × Sm action, extends to an Sn × Sm-representation Slimn,m. We then formulate a conjecture generalizing this statement to any simple graph.
