Abstract

Recently, a general exact autonomy framework for TT-like deformations of 2D integrable sigma models and 4D nonlinear electrodynamics has been developed. The theories are characterized by the Courant-Hilbert equation and admit an equivalent description in the Russo-Townsend auxiliary-field formulation. For general one-scale families, we derive an exact irrelevant flow equation of the universal form ∂λL=XF(Y/X), \,\,\,X=TμνTμν, \,\,\, Y=(Tμμ)2 where the function F is determined by the underlying Courant-Hilbert solution. We obtain a parametric representation valid for arbitrary one-scale models, establish its perturbative expansion in terms of the defining function or auxiliary potential, and identify the domain in which the flow remains regular. We also show that the irrelevant flow commutes with the marginal root-TT deformation and that both flows preserve classical integrability. Explicit results are derived for generalized Born-Infeld, q-deformed, no-τ-maximum, and logarithmic models, with the latter admitting a closed representation. Finally, we extend the flow construction to arbitrary spacetime dimension (d), revealing a common one-variable structure that connects two-dimensional integrable sigma models to four-dimensional self-dual nonlinear electrodynamics. These results provide a systematic framework for constructing and classifying exact TT-like flows beyond the standard Born-Infeld setting.
